The Fresno County Office of Education is pleased to announce the start of the ninth year of our Math on Call tutorial service (Sept. 2, 2008). We are committed to being a resource to the students of Fresno County.  Our show is broadcast live on Comcast Cable channel 14 every Monday through Thursday from 4:00-5:00 PM, and we continue to take calls until 5:25.  All of our tutors are credentialed mathematics teachers who are trained in inquiry-based instruction.

Our goal is to continue to expand the number of students who use our services.  We want every student in Fresno County to be able to have access to a tutor so that they can be successful in their math class.

We have pencils and refrigerator magnets that could be distributed to students on your campus. As we continue to work on expanding the program through our office to meet the needs of more students, we would like to offer you the opportunity to promote our program to your students through pencils and refrigerator magnets.  We would encourage you to share this with your PTA and student council as they look for ways to help you increase student achievement.  The Fresno County Office of Education would gladly send someone to present at a board meeting, a math department meeting, a PTA group, or a student council.

If you would like to order please return the order form and payment as soon as possible so that we can place the order and ship them to your school.

Math on Call posters are available for all classrooms, libraries, offices, etc. at no cost.  Please let us know how many you may need.
